To get more of an idea for how the list feels about future rules changes
how about a e-mail ballot on the topic?
The wording is as follows:
"Would you want to see the I14 class adopt the listed proposals within the
next 24months, following trials after the Beer Worlds?
A moderate increase in beam (allowing trapezing aft of the stern), a
deregulation of rise of floor, and a staged decrease in weight.
Please mail me - not the list - with a yes or no answer and state whether
you are any of the following: helm, crew, boat owner or outside party.
I will then post the results on the list after a couple of weeks.
Please keep your answers to yes or no. If you don't like the above wording,
or feel that you cannot simply respond yes or no, then mail me 'Abstain'.
This is purely for a bit of fun and to try to get a bit more of a feel for
what everyone wants. No harm intended.
