For all I know I may have the only 14 in Oklahoma, so let me speak for
the entire Oklahoma Fleet (I'd love to be wrong, by the way).

I have no interaction with other 14 sailors, I am strictly a wannabe,
but I do have a boat and I'd like to get better at sailing it. The 14
list is my only contact with the world of 14's.

I like to see the technical discussions, like carbon fiber mast
construction, and I have found the rules discussions lately especially
interesting. Unfortunately, it seems the really interesting discussions
turn private, or at least they seem to disappear quickly.

Sometimes there are significant discussions, like a life-jacket
discussion a while back, that should definately be dispersed to all
hands.

There is lots of very provincial info about, however, like who's
sleeping with who at RYC, etc. (not as bad as it sounds, actually).

Is there some way the list server can filter based on subject?

I'd hate to lose the technical and technique stuff, I don't really mind
deleting gobs of 14 e-mails (it's kinda' fun when I'm in a bad mood,
actually), but it is sometimes a bother and it looks like it's causing a
minor insurrection among some factions.

Again, I'd hate to lose the tech & tech stuff.
