I think all this talk about development is fine, but the rigs still have a
long way to go before they are perfect.
My rig at the worlds showed what can be done with a bit of thought. I am
sure they can be improved further, and we are working on that development
now.

Having racks further aft sounds fine but then hulls would change causing
more costs. You would end up in the same situation in a couple of years
time. Why don't we just learn to sail the boats better, or get a Bieker 3,
they are much safer downwind! or get your sailmaker to re-design the
kite.......... that can lift the bow downwind.

The one simple thing to increase speed is to reduce the weight of the hulls.
The Aussie's have sailed for years at 65.5 kg's with the pole in. Most
boats are built lighter than this anyway, and just have heaps of lead added.
