Changing the measurement rules for the rig -
Bottom of hull intead of the gunwale measurement.
Elim the boom rule or modify to allow wishbone booms, or other interesting solutions.
Let the masts rotate - let them be airfoils - etc. Eliminate the double luff rule (our jibs don't pass the rule anyway.)
Eliminate the main/jib measurement rules?
Anyone here what came of the owner meeting at melbourne to have our class designers design a new way to measure the hull to elim the bumps and make sure the current crop fit?
Measured weight reduction to keep pace with current building practices.
I'm not too interested in wider racks (would possibly require changes to the hulls again)
The fineness of the bow seems to be determined by the mid-point station - which will most likely remain stable for a long while.
