I think the first thing we should look at is the rig. Rotating masts,
camber inducers, self tacking jibs (these are on their way). That sort of
thing. Current rigs are looking a bit old fashioned and we don't think
about them much. Dave Alexander was the first person I have ever seen
measure rig tension on a 14!!
Also good look at the rules to remove the unnecessary stuff.
Then maybe racks out the back of the boat...
