The Long Distance Race is taking place on Sunday July 25 from Itchenor Sailing Club

This is a Bastardo Category event (ie not an official 14 Association or ISC event) without any organising authority

Start 1100 hrs ISC Club line

Course to be announced in the ISC bar at 2230 hrs on Saturday 24. Course depends on prevailing weather conditions and might be amended in the morning if breeze is light etc. In spite of John Evans kind offer of BBQ at Royal Southern it has been decided that IOW is a more challenging destination (plus it's downhill all the way after lunch). So, the general plan is to race to Cowes for lunch followed by the big reaching race home in the afternoon. Prizes to be mutually agreed will be in the form of beer - cash donation will be required.
