No one has pointed out yet that 2nd and 3rd placed boats were quite
interesting. Both were using Alexander sails/CST masts (just like Carnt
Geddes at the Worlds) for the first time. Chris Turner in 3rd had a brand
new, barely finished modified Bieker 2. It is narrow like the 2z, maybe
Chris can give us more details. With the fixed rig there are hardley any
strings to play with. It looks really fast in a breeze. I think Chris
spent a lot of time going faster than everyone and falling in!

I took some pictures and will get them processed and scanned next week
(along with my Garda pictures!).

Anyway must get back to updating the website....
