SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Copies of the sailing instructions are available on the web site at
http://www.99worlds.org/sailints/int14.html
<http://www.99worlds.org/sailints/int14.html> . Competitors should note
that changes may occur to these published instructions and shall be on
the notice board at SYC.

SPECTATORS
Spectator vessels will be available from SYC - free of charge - to all
family and friends. An exclusion zone around the course will ensure that
unwelcome craft will be controlled by coast guard and water police.
Spectator craft will be certified by SYC and provided with identifying
flags. Certified boat will be allowed within 100 metres of the course.
So make sure you get on a certified boat.

PRESENTATION NIGHT
As presentation night will be held on the evening of the last heat
(8:00PM 14/1/99) and we are required to give caters final numbers 7 days
prior. We need to have bookings (for other than for competitors)
finalised at registration.

Could every one outside Australia put some thought to how many tickets
they need and be ready to pay for these at registration. - No bookings
will be taken after January 6th.

We are limited to 500 seats at the venue - current estimates put 400
bums on seats - that's a big party!!

REMINDER
Remember to bring

1. CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE
2. MEASUREMENT CERTIFICATE

It would assist us greatly if a representative from each nation
competing do a ring around prior to departure to ensure these documents
are made available to us at registration. Penalty for mislaying these
documents - particularly whilst in the queue at registration - is a jug
of beer for each of our people on the registration desk !!! This rule
will be strictly enforced - sounds expensive doesn't it.

Best regards,

Stephen Edmunds
National Secretary

Lovely day today - 31deg Sunny & bright - sorry not much wind
