We're definitely going to be sailing our spare boat (once I've finished building
it!) at QMSC. Mike Holmes will be there with his (re)converted Morrison,
hopefully Peter Harvey in his converted Turner, and we also have a couple of
small-rig Bene IVs which are quite active. Handy for London, race course right
next to the launching area, the race area is guaranteed never to resemble a
muddy canal, and the water will always move more slowly than the wind. They let
us sail windward-leeward courses, rather than the tight two-sail reaches
favoured by all those classes with kiddy rigs, and if enough people turn up we
can even have our own start.
