Benedict 8 - GBR 1291, designed and built by Chris Benedict. Hull
construction foam sandwhich kevlar/carbon weave and very very strong.

conversion
in 1996 to new rules with carbon racks (like a Bieker 2).
Completely new rig
in 1996 with Batt sails, carbon mast, carbon boom, carbon pole and gnav.
Piper foils, Lots of small rig sails also and spare parts. Very good light
weather boat, can give the new boats a shock in light conditions. New top
cover, custom trolley and bottom cover. Located North East coast of UK
(near ferry
terminal) at Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Boat is complete and ready to sail although stored inside since 1997 POW.
