Yes those correctors are on tracks ( 4-6 inches/150mm), the reason some one
designs in the UK use weight equalisation systems and so one can get cheap
well made plastic covered bits of lead that slide onto the track and are
then secured by a locking screw. If you re-weigh and are Light/Heavy (as no
regatta scales ever tally) simply slide one weight on or off! It's cheap and
works very well and is not a conspiracy....
