Tell all the story, in the 70's on works and tight shys, you could not hold
a candle to Maneka at 175 kg as far as straight speed through the water was
concerned. I will not argue your ability to make good with better boat
handling.

The simplistic truth is, that once planning, speed comes down to available
righting moment given all other aspects are equal. Beam over all, crew
weight, crew height, crew fitness to use the weight and height and chine
beam will all yield additional planning speed. In light winds and free
running all of these factors slow the boat down.

The small guys win in the light, good big guys can win in the heave. Sailing
great, Bucko is right leave crew weight alone and encourage crews to use the
flexibility in the other rules to set their boats up to suit their
particular size.

Int 14's are not one design
