Everything I have heard and experienced myself (as a Bieker 2
owner and serious competitor) is that the Biekers have always been
much less nosey than any (that I know of) Aussie design. The fact that
Grant Geddes switched to the Bieker (and won the Worlds) is partially
due to this behaviour. Several top Aussie's sailed our Bieker 2 after a
race at the 1997 Worlds, and comment on how easy it was to sail
downwind, how much harder they could push it.

I'm not really sure where Mick is coming from on this comment.

Also, it is great to see prominent former 18 and 49er sailors such
as Emmet Lazich participating on the 14 mail list.
